It took all the strength I had to report my rapist. I endured a justice system that was brutal and traumatic, but against all odds I secured a conviction. After that I waived my anonymity in the hopes of helping others. The price of doing this was a campaign of abuse.

CONVICTED: On 24 July 2024, Anita Rose, 57, was found unconscious on a path in Brantham, Suffolk. She had been badly beaten and died in hospital four days later. A stranger, Roy Barclay, 55, has been convicted of murder.

You can leave an abuser but the family court ensures you never truly escape him.

LONDON: Nigel Eccles, 67, who tried to film a mum & her young daughter getting changed at a leisure centre, has walked free. He was also caught with 100s of CSA images. Judge Katz said court delays allowed him to spare Eccles jail, as they had given him time to "seek therapy"
