Getting real worried that Disney will replace Tomorrowland with that Marvel movie. Tomorrowland is its own IP, it doesn't need comic books.
Europe trips have taught me that "the best" sites are overcrowded and overrated. Secondary sites offer the same core with a far greater experience. Skip Pompeii and do Ostia Antica. Skip Versailles and do Palazzo Reale or Caserta. I had an hour without seeing anyone else today.

No way Hogan is gonna job to the Grim Reaper like that, dude. That finish doesn't work for me, brother.
Hulk Hogan dead at 71, per TMZ. Story: tmz.com/2025/07/24/hul…
There is nothing futuristic about coal powered 2 ton personal vehicles produced by an extremist oligarch. This is not EPCOT, it's cyberpunk dystopia.
The Tesla Diner reminds me that the future is worth getting excited about. This was my first time arriving and I couldn’t even find the words except ‘wow…’ This is exactly what I imagined the future to be. Charging my Tesla, grabbing a burger and drink, and watching a movie, all…
At the incredible Reggia Di Caserta outside Napoli, the largest royal palace in Europe. Naples is... difficult but there are remarkable sites.

What's the best ride to ever directly replace a classic Disney ride? I'm voting Runaway Railway over GMRR. (I won't count FEA because Maelstrom was too short to be classic. A ridelet)
Pompeii: kinda mediocre. Herculaneum: kinda better in every way.

Gonna keep chanting Pirates Delende Est until my dream manifests itself Tear it downnnn
I really don’t think Disney could be stupid enough to get rid of Pirates of the Caribbean. Do you think they would?
Have you ever wondered why the Johnny Depp animatronics feel out of place in Pirates of the Caribbean? The original pirates were comical characters, not realistic humans. Imagineer Marc Davis designed exaggerated caricatures, as if his drawings came to life. It’s the difference…
Is this the first Marvel infection into Disneyland?
The Thing is coming to Disneyland. 👊
Logistics in Italy are honestly much worse than The Global South. Public transit is a complete nightmare. It makes Cambodia look organized.
(First, I don't want this to start a fight) Am I the only one who can't stand parades simply because of how they make movement impossible? Trying to cross the park any time around parades is a total nightmare.
In Versailles, it's so crowded you can barely breathe. At Palazzo Reale in Napoli, midday on a Saturday, you have the place to yourself.

A Walt Disney attraction on Main Street implies that Main Street is, in its own internal logic, a theme park land, and not a 1900s idyllic small town. The plaques are somehow semi-kayfabe both referencing MS being a theme park land but also somehow a contemporary real place. Ugh
"Attention to infinite detail" is a phrase that warms my heart no end. I know it's easy to think "everything new is bad/good" but when an immediate reaction is how something doesn't fit theme, it really shouldn't have happened.
Altogether, it makes me think of the importance of "Show" that John Hench spoke about, via Jim Hill Media. jimhillmedia.com/wednesdays-wit…
