We wish Americans a Happy 4th of July. We wish we could share a wish and leave it at that. But the fact is that supporting Ukraine today is the most American thing you can do.
Just because powerful men and governments may fail Ukraine doesn't mean that ordinary people have to.
We are grateful for the humanity @JoaquinCastrotx displays in supporting the people of Ukraine and their stand for freedom. Thank you for your example. Standing for universal principles is not a zero-sum game for your constituency who remain your priority.
Today I met with a group of Ukrainian Texans - including Olenka and Margaret from San Antonio - to hear their stories and discuss the U.S.'s ongoing response to Putin's brutal invasion. I'm proud to stand with the people of Ukraine and vote for the support their country needs.
