Before I say this: I know there are still people doing incredible work for #Ukraine. Volunteering, fundraising, helping in any way they can. I see it, and I’m deeply grateful for it. But what scares me is how fast the russian invasion has slipped out of the global consciousness.
It’s not “new,” though.
OPINION: Vladimir Putin is spending millions of dollars bombarding European voters with manipulative social media and disinformation campaigns on a mass scale. It’s a new type of warfare on democracy that eliminates the need to roll tanks into capitals. ow.ly/mBlu50WiPRx

Delighted to say that at the upcoming RUTA Conference (@associationruta), I'll present my poetry project, "A Song of Sunrise and Blood: Cartographies of Terror, Endurance and Revival"! It covers my poems on Ukraine, mapping wartime terrors, grief, and resilience through verse.
#Lviv, historical cente, UNESCO site, is the target of choice for the russian drones this night. putin is relentless.
After this horrible night in Kyiv, here is just a brief overview of the current situation. 1Putin is a liar. He lied in 2014 that there were no Russian soldiers in Crimea. He lied in 2022 that he was not starting a full-scale invasion. He is lying in 2025 that he wants peace.…

It is my city Kyiv. It's hard to breathe.
The result of Trump’s call with Putin.
In 2014 John Mearsheimer wrote in @nytimes, Crimea is "surely lost for good." Why? As Rory Finnin tells @United24media, the answer is laziness. "Many such pundits don't know Russian. They certainly don't know Ukrainian or Crimean Tatar." /1 united24media.com/perspectives/w…
❗️ Tonight, the enemy attacked our peaceful cities alongside infrastructure, causing damages to the Poltava-Pivdenna railway station, suburban station, rolling stock and administrative buildings. Fortunately, there were no casualties. Trains keep running on schedule.
My latest piece in @goodauth about how targeting international students is bad not just for the U.S. economy & innovation, but also 🇺🇸 reputation globally. goodauthority.org/news/targeting…
Indeed, many have become numb. Retreating into our safe spheres of normalcy seems to be the response of many. Our own administration supports Putin’s violence. This is why it was so important to stop this in Feb. 2022 (2014 would have been better). We continue to fail Ukraine.
The world is becoming numb to Putin's killing in Ukraine. Please resist that. This is a horrific act of state-sponsored terrorism.
Russia is escalating attacks on civilian targets🤮 This time it was a train full of passengers and also a hospital, schools, houses of civilians in the Dnieper. At least 17 people dead and about 300 injured. We must help Ukraine much more against the terrorist imperialist Russian…

Russia hit Dnipro with ballistic missiles in broad daylight today. Odesa–Zaporizhzhia train badly damaged, passengers injured. While the world watches the Middle East, the frontline creeps closer to Ukraine’s major cities.
