75 years ago, the Nakba, catastrophe in Arabic, began. For Dutch daily Trouw, I spoke to three generations of Palestinian women in Beirut about the ever-present longing for their homeland. Here's a translation of my original, and largely unedited, story. link.medium.com/HpXe3DtPOzb
a society that is so demonic, it is beyond reprehensible that they walk this earth casually and with impunity.
“Without hunger and thirst among the Gaza population, we will not be able to recruit collaborators, we will not be able to recruit intelligence, we will not be able to bribe people with food, with drink, with medicine.” -Tally Gotliv, member of the Knesset
If you condemn the only people actually fighting the genocidaires, guess what, you are pro-genocide
19 years ago today, July 23, 2006 israeli occupation forces targeted fleeing civilian families in Tyre, South Lebanon. 26 casualties, half martyred, the rest wounded. Many were burned alive Glory to our martyrs
Know that if you found yourself on the wrong side of the powerful, it could be you lining up for a bite only to get a bullet. We are in a world where the ruling class gets to decide who is disposable. It has to stop. We have to liberate Palestine to liberate everyone.
The British Museum hosted an event for Israel in May and every piece of shit in British politics was present.
🚨BREAKING🚨: Jimmy Carr, Nigel Farage, Maria Eagle, the Board of Deputies, Kemi Badenoch among those that attended yesterday's secret "Israeli Independence Day" celebration held at the British Museum. Let’s talk about who was in the room last night - and why it matters 🧵
My friend @JenniferLoewe10 has asked me to post the letter below, which she recently received from Hidiyya, a friend of hers from Rafah who she has know for more than two decades: I feel like we live on another planet, far removed from Earth. No one here can provide even the…
Hundreds of high-profile Western journalists are complicit. And, here's the thing, many of them genuinely believe that all they're doing is being objective. After 25 years in this business, I know the hubris well.

Hamada has lost many teammates during the genocide. In this photo, he stands with Mohammad Barakat, football legend killed in an Israeli airstrike on his home, & Ahmad Abu Al-Atta, who was killed alongside his entire family. This is what remains of Gaza’s football generation.
You can’t declare self defence on a land that you are occupying.
Of the many lessons one could learn from our moment, one of them most definitely is that no one should obey the nonsensical and thoughtless norm that any profession prevents you from both judging what is true and accurate and speaking your own mind.
If professional objectivity means journalists can't speak out about Israel starving a million children in Gaza, can they at least speak out about the starving of their fellow journalists?
“This was a deliberate statement [by Western nations] to divert attention from their refusal to take any meaningful action to achieve the objectives they lay out,” Mouin Rabbani, co-editor of Jadaliyya and a former UN official who worked as a special adviser on Israel-Palestine…
No true liberation from colonial rule is possible without violent resistance. Why should everyone get to defend their homeland, family and community except Palestinians? Why are they the only exception to humanitarian and international law? They are the world’s abandoned people
The Israeli Knesset just voted to annex the West Bank. They will not rest until every Palestinian is either killed, expelled or forced to live as second-class citizens under their genocidal rule. If the world doesn’t intervene, there will be no Palestine or Palestinian left
Thread & a few clarifications. 🧵 This video highlights the historic Shia presence in Palestine before 1948. Palestinian Shias were present in Haifa, Nazareth, Asqalan, & beyond. The 7 Shia villages mentioned in the quote tweet are known to us as Lebanon’s seven lost villages.
History of Shia Islam in Palestine Combined and sourced from @m_almaqdisi and his thread on the topic Palestine lies at the heart of the Levant. Its indigenous people are mainly Arabs, with Samaritans and Armenians among other minorities. Most Palestinians follow Sunni Islam,…
i don’t think we can expect much from people who don’t even have the discipline to maintain a boycott of the nyt….
why do you guys keep saying we entered the phase of starvation. what were all the phases before? fun?
I don’t believe you
I am the first to recognize that I came to this far too late. I was brainwashed my whole life. I admit it. However, I am doing my best to utilize my platform and unique position, which gives me some sort of audience, to make up for it.
Israel is starving Gaza to death. Babies shrink instead of grow. Aid sites become death traps. Doctors say children arrive as “skeletons.” This is deliberate. Read the report: mondoweiss.net/2025/07/when-t…
