community college is one of the most beautiful things on earth. protect it at all costs
Did you hear? @dsa_constella is ranking Alex P # 1 for DSA National Co-chair to support a strong youth section and develop the future leaders of our party! Fill out the form in our bio so we can stay in touch throughout convention 🌹
This was not a decision that came easily! Much of the past 3 years of YDSA have been defined by the differences in vision between YDSA and B&R but when we see a strong and talented leader like Alex, we know its time to put differences aside to build the best DSA possible 🧵

We are proud to announce DSA member @RepRashida will be the keynote speaker at the 2025 DSA National Convention!
🛠️ Expanding paid political leadership in DSA will pay dividends for our capacity to build the organization and the socialist movement. Convention delegates should support Resolution 35: For Working Class Member Leadership. socialistcall.com/2025/07/24/lea…
this week 😵💫🤢🤢🤮
if I even attempt to calculate how many hours I've spent on DSA this week I will throw up
finally made my debut on the new york post as the face of gen z zohran supporters 🔥🔥🔥 we did it jo!!!
6 in 10 Gen Zers like ‘socialism’ — no wonder they’re hoodwinked by Zohran Mamdani trib.al/OUgiKAl
Organizing in a small chapter since 2021. The NEC and NLC alone are worth more than they’re already allotted. The support HVDSA has gotten on specific strike support, federal/k12/higher ed labor organizing, and electoral/issue campaigns is the basis of our rebuilding.
I'm really proud to have authored the resolution for Locals First which doubles the amount that chapters get from membership dues. Ultimately, this money always belonged to chapters who do the hard work of organizing on the ground and gives them the resources they need to do more
I’m running for State House District 43. We’re building something real: * Real teachers, not AI bots * Housing we can afford * Public control of our utilities * Worker power, not corporate giveaways Launch: 7/26, 2PM @ Portal (1512 Portland Ave) bell4ky.com
I just looked up hers and Angel Reese's salary - $80k a year??? How are they earning less than a Target store manager???? Tf
Caitlin Clark’s shirt: “I DESERVE NBA MONEY” 👀
my biggest issue with comparing dsa to unions is that unions are a pre-defined membership body that *must* include everyone. a socialist organization is a self-defined group that must draw its boundaries somewhere (lest it cease being socialist).
Absolutely shameful, NEA leadership overrode its members. The head of the ADL went on MSNBC and compared a keffiyeh to a swastika and these are the clowns tasked with teaching our children about “hate.” Note how the “safety” of Palestinian kids never matters in any of this.
We welcome the @NEAToday Executive Committee's decision to reject a dangerous resolution to boycott ADL education materials. ADL is committed to working with the NEA and all teachers’ unions to join the Jewish community in making clear these hateful campaigns harm students,…
Like what you’ve seen from us so far? Let’s keep in touch!
Nearly two-thirds of young Americans view socialism favorably, according to a 2025 YouGov/CATO poll. That's up from 51% in 2019.
This isn’t just something theoretical, it is real in many other countries. For instance Gabriel Boric was president of the federal level Chilean student union during their mass student strikes of millions in 2011. He was also a member and leader in a socialist political formation
ICYMI… LDSA comrade 🌹 Robert LeVertis Bell is running to represent District 43 in the Kentucky State House in 2026! His campaign is about building the power working people need to turn Kentucky around—not just for one election, but for the long haul.
when the dsa account has a really good tweet there’s like an 75% chance it was @explauratory’s draft
⛔️ Grassroots organizing stopped a backroom deal to admit a Portland, Oregon, police union to the local labor council. socialistcall.com/2025/07/20/how…
Listen, I love YDSA, but we have 2k members out of 11 million students (and even more youth). The work me and my comrades have done through UOSW has organized twice as many people on a SINGLE campus. We have to organize on a scale significantly beyond the status quo
"What is a meeting if not a rehearsal for democracy?"
🪑Organizing meetings aren’t glamorous (often the opposite). But behind the daily routines of meetings, one-on-one conversations, and follow ups, there is a real joy in having a say in decisions that impact your life. Pull up a chair. socialistcall.com/2025/07/18/why…
