I wrote an article about implementing the #Chicory #Wasm compiler backend for Android Dalvik/ART bytecode, tricks to run ART in an unconventional way inside! blog.evacchi.dev/posts/2025/07/…
Much appreciated 🙏
I think what mcp.run is doing with wasm is the future. Anthropic guys have talked about it in the discord too. Wasm prob not ready just yet but will make spinning up mcp servers super simple for anyone.
🤔 Have you ever wanted a plugin system for your project that can support a bajillion different languages? @cmgriffing has you covered in his talk from SquiggleConf 2024 on @extism! Check it out! 🔽 links below
This is what I was working over the weekend! Loved it and do read this piece!!
NVIDIAScape (CVE-2025-23266) exposes a fatal flaw in GPU container security: a container can gain root on the host using just 3 lines in a Docker file. vNode blocks this class of breakouts, without VMs. Full demo, exploit, and defense breakdown: loft.sh/blog/nvidiasca…
I just realized who to blame for excessive AI hype: it's the AIs themselves. Anyone playing with these tools to generate text or code is also fed a stream of sugary-sweet affirmations declaring a perfect job. Those who dig deeper realize that this optimism is hallucinated.
New favorite genre: hardcore coders directing coding agents slowly discovering from first principles that management is actual work
TIL there is no official way to emulate an iOS device in a VM properly, only a "simulator" that is macOS in a barely disguised trenchcoat 🥸
🚀Excited to share Quarkus quickjs4j, the new Quarkus extension by @EricWittmann that embeds the lightweight QuickJS engine in JVM & native builds! 🧩 It has never been that easy to run fully sandboxed JS inside your Java apps. Dive in 👉 quarkus.io/blog/quickjs4j #Java #Quarkus
When we created Chicory i theorized this would be possible, but had no idea someone would eventually do it! nice work @evacchi

GraalVM is now at the point where it can compile `javac` to a (10MB) WasmGC binary, and you can compile Java code on the web. Soon, you'll be able to program web apps as $DEITY intended again: using Java applets. (🔗⬇️)
I know that people rarely get excited (like me) by latency percentiles, but moving to a netty powered loom scheduler can save +30% of CPU usage w similar perf. Which translates in saving $$$ (whilst making it a greener choice too). That's exciting 🔝
Transitioning to virtual threads using the Micronaut loom carrier micronaut.io/2025/06/30/tra… #micronaut #java
not many people know this, but you can also glide down to a value
I'm not a fan of the C programming language but I give credit where credits due: The "tends towards" operator --> is a programming language design masterpiece.
