Tell me that this does not look like a photo from the Holocaust. I cannot believe, cannot believe, that the people who suffered the Holocaust, my people, would do this to anyone. How can this be??
"The cases reaching us are of people who collapsed in the streets from lack of nutrition."
+100 for this (surprisingly short) take! "writing the paper" is not something that happens at the END of a research project.. it's an integral part of it. personally, blindly offloading that part to an LLM would be the surest way to hurt the quality of my research.
"writing is not only about reporting results; it also provides a tool to uncover new thoughts and ideas. Writing compels us to think"

New research tracks how empathic disequilibrium, the balance between emotional and cognitive empathy, shifts from age 3-12: link.springer.com/article/10.100โฆ
Stanford paid 35,000 people to quit social media. This was the largest study on emotional health in history. The results were so shocking, scientists called it "comparable to therapy." Here's what happens when you break free from the algorithm: ๐งต
Excited to share our new study tracking how empathic disequilibrium develops in children aged 3โ12! Led by @FUzefovsky and together with Dr Rebecca Waller (@EDENLabUPenn) and @nickjameswagner, we found that both forms of empathic disequilibrium are common across development.
