I've never seen a more thoroughly cooked country than the UK. Actively telling any followers of mine to get out of there as soon as possible
I need to find some low stakes, low risk but high reward hobbies because everything I'm obsessed with at the moment makes me feel horrible
"'Fewer than 10 lawmakers explicitly supported the president's continuation, while nearly 40 clearly demanded resignation. "
idc, this was what all the hype was about?
"86 EIGHTY-SIX" Anime Sequel production decision.
Huh, maybe Japan won't reach South Korea levels of gender politics for a bit?

Apparently, multiple close aides of Kishida are among the masterminds of the signature campaign against Ishiba. If Kishida himself comes out publicly against Ishiba, I think that's when the damn breaks

You can't get a more corpo sell-out party than the " let's just privatize everything and call it reform " Ishin
The leaders of Ishin keep publicly flirting with the idea of joining a coalition government with the LDP & Komeito. This time it’s the Mayor of Osaka, Yokoyama Hideyuki. It seems to revolve around the idea of giving Osaka a role as Japan's 2nd capital... nikkei.com/article/DGXZQO…
i genuinely think the only way to not go into despair with some of these things is to ignore everything or become some sort of accelerationist

Way too much shit is happening. It's weird though, normally I'm a big into wishing nothing ever happens but this rapid deterioration kind of has me on the edge of my seat waiting to see when the next shoe drops
I don't think I'm really blackpilling or nihilistic. I'm actually still riding high from Taro Yamada being re-elected. I'm just questioning what is really being defended at this point with the recent reinterest in freedom of expression.
I don't know what will be more difficult to change. The fact that the internet has already been doomed with payment processors having total supremacy among other things or the cultural shift within the creatives themselves. Theoretically it should be the latter right?
Even this newfound appreciation for freedom of expression ultimately feels pointless. It's over a decade too late. Everything has already been so incredibly neutered. Feels like people are just fighting over scraps at this point

When I saw this, I thought of the Churchill quote in his " we will never surrender " speech where he was saying the New World (US) had to liberate the Old (UK + EU) for some reason
I always wondered what my personal becoming the Joker threshold was
