nature.com/articles/ncomm… Laser induced graphene electrodes in polyimide (still sorting the pitch and dpi)

JLCPCB won’t even accept the pitch of this shitty overpriced connector 😭 Wtv I’m redoing the board with 2 of these 50cent 64 circuit molex connectors instead of the 4 omnetics
Biotech electronics are fucking insane. This 36 pin connector used in a popular head stage acquisition board and nothing else costs $170 each And don’t get me started on how much 64 30ksample ADC channels cost… I am going to open source an RHD2000+ alternative Soon™️
Finally getting thefirmware for @indiraschka and I’s open source enose kit sorted, follow my site for some cool demos and hardware updates soon
I also just got my hands on V2 of the nonhumanscent enose dev kit I’ve been working on :) Follow my website for my updates: eigenlucy.com/projects/nonhu…
Any guesses on what type of fdm filament in the best dielectric? I’m guessing nylon. We’ll know soon enough
All earnings would go toward building the device. Neuro & hardware enthusiasts can use it to run fun experiments, e.g. @raphaelmosaic plans to test nootropics for living neurons! We are replicating the setup from Mind-in-Vitro. With $3.6k, you can build a 128 channel platform
low-cost devices to record signals from neurons in a dish. make neuroscience hardware accessible for hobbyists! we are launching a coin on believe @launchcoin main contributors: @eigenlucy and @indiraschka, with neurotech group @frontiertower

If any VCs out there wanna give me money for mithras.industries, I think I can build a demo of our plasma drilling system with active spectroscopy for like 10k 🥺
Post something that’s a flex to a niche group, that most folks won’t understand —- (One of the first ud1.3 Tesla coil drivers steve ward ever assembled)

The best and worst thing about not having a formal education or back ground is realizing how flat everything is.
This was actually the initial motivation for the work I am doing on laser induced graphene x.com/eigenlucy/stat… Check out this paper on fabricating low cost urea sensors based on diversified LIG electrode arrays: nature.com/articles/s4152… You basically induce vacancies shaped…
That’s how it works! There are some limits with mox tho Its a pretty small set of VOCs you can sense, the adjustment time to switch heater profiles and embedded algorithms is pretty long, the sampling time is bad, etc There are some alternatives based on: Libraries of…
Watching even the smartest and most active builders I know get forced out of the US over their VISA status is absolutely gut wrenching. This administration will reap what it sows.
