How can ANYONE believe that a human doctor can be better than a LLM doctor. Human doctors being better is just some romantic House M.D. bullshit.
Current state of the medical establishment: Brought a friend to the ER for a high fever. Put their symptoms into Grok. Grok told me to ask for 4 tests. Doctor said 1 of them is unnecessary. I insisted we do them all. Test came back positive on the one he didn’t want to do.
Nah. I was trying o4-mini-high yesterday (so far I used o3) and I figured out it works how GPT-5 is supposed to do: calibrate the thinking over the complexity of the questions. So, if it works now I don't see why it shouldn't work on the next, probably more clever product.
Im so anxious that GPT-5 is going to be crazy underwhelming because that would be such a fucking wake up call, but at the same time it might potentially be the most awesome thing ever, the fucking tension is killing me i cant handle much longer
I mean, just look at the video, not many comments are needed.

I hope this is true, because it's very interesting.

Interestingly enough, the frontier intelligence is basically a function of time. Which in turn may be a combined effect of the compute availability and the R&D advancements.
Other AI models seem to have made big leaps in the International Math Olympiad, not just OpenAI. Not all announcements seem to be out yet.
Nobody is talking of how gently it's grabbing the box? Not a small feature. (Yes I know it's teleoperated, doesn't change the fact.)
