Consumer Sentiment from the DTCCI.co data is moving in a positive direction in all metrics. It's subtle in some, more drastic in others. Thanks to @JeremiahPrummer at @KnoCommerce for the survey; thanks to @TaylorHoliday @CommnThreadCo for organizing. @dtcindex
From this week's DTCCI.co data, we Present Spending Sentiment has been hovering around the same values as last year at this time - a welcome increase from the Q1 record low. More data in this month's @dtcindex report. Thanks to @JeremiahPrummer @TaylorHoliday
Looking at this week's DTCCI.co data, it looks like consumers have a better feeling about spending. First, future spending continues to climb - still behind last year though. @JeremiahPrummer @KnoCommerce @TaylorHoliday @CommnThreadCo @dtcindex
Good explanation of some of the data we to calculate the DTCCI.co and present in the @dtcindex Yes, this year had some rough consumer sentiment around spending in the present and in the future. It doesn't shock me to see the Shopify numbers.
DTC shoppers report spending less in 2025 than any year we've tracked. Here's why that matters. In 2023 we launched a survey experience at @KnoCommerce that lets brands opt in to asking a set of questions that are benchmarked and aggregated across our entire ecosystem. Among…

Present purchase sentiment has crept upward while future purchase sentiment still remains low. Thanks to @JeremiahPrummer at @KnoCommerce for the great survey data. Thanks to @TaylorHoliday at @CommnThreadCo for pulling this all together. More depth available in the @dtcindex
Consumers can have different sentiment about purchasing at different times of year and that clearly impacts how brands perform in their marketing. How do you put a number on Consumer Confidence? Researchers have been trying to put a number on it since the 50’s, but I was never…
I'm working through market elasticity from this week's DTCCI data. In the mean time, we've seen a record turn away from Marketplace (Amazon, Temu, etc.) sentiment in April only to be topped by May. I'm not sure if this support for Temu that fell apart with the tariffs on China…
Less tariffs = more confidence in the Economy Do not mistake this for consumers' confidence in purchasing; there are other metrics to consider. Thanks to @JeremiahPrummer at @KnoCommerce and @TaylorHoliday at @CommnThreadCo All part of @dtcindex
From this week's DTCCI.co data, we saw an uptick in Economic Sentiment even before tariffs were changed, but it wasn't the same for all states. Thanks to @JeremiahPrummer at @KnoCommerce for the survey data; thanks to @TaylorHoliday at @CommnThreadCo @dtcindex
