In February 2023, my colleagues decided to end the mask mandate in our pediatric office. "We have to learn to live with COVID." Their choice was to accept repeated infections for everyone. They refused to read studies that I collected for them.

People are worried others will treat them badly if they wear a respirator when others aren’t. People should be A LOT more worried about how they’ll be treated by others if they become disabled with Long Covid, because from what I’ve seen most will be abandoned.

This is symbolic of what our lives will be like in 1-2 decades if we don’t start to clean the air or properly warn unmasked humans about the air they’re breathing. That’s your kid. Your pride & joy. Neither their athleticism or PEDs will save them. Surgery won’t either.
