Extreme heat is gripping much of the South, Midwest, and Northeast — over 100 million people are under heat dome warnings as dangerous temperatures and humidity persist through July 27. Stay safe and check local alerts.

Disability Pride is not one-size-fits-all. It’s layered, emotional, and deeply personal. Some days are filled with pride, others with grief — and both are valid. This month, we honor the full complexity of living a disabled life and affirm its inherent value. #DisabilityPride

Disability Pride is about love, resistance, and community. 💛♿

UPDATE 7/12: At this time, 911 services have been restored in Pennsylvania. An investigation into what caused intermittent outages will continue, and we will update you on that as soon as we can. We worked with counties to fully test that the system is operational.
In Pennsylvania, 911 is having intermittent outages. If you have an issue call your local 911 Center on their non-Emergency lines. Find that on their websites, search for your town/city local 911 center phone number

Becoming disabled has been one of the hardest things that’s ever happened to me, but it also allowed me to be part of a community of the most generous, caring, tenacious, people in the world. At every point along the way, other disabled people have saved me, shown me the way.
What does disability pride me to you?

We are devastated by the destruction and loss caused by the flash floods in Texas, New Mexico, Illinois, and North Carolina. Climate change is making hazards more frequent and severe, putting disabled lives and marginalized people at greater risk.
