I just read Matthew Barret's testimony of his move to Anglicanism. This stood out: "What a comfort to tell our kids, The way we are worshipping is how Christians have worshipped across history. It’s really, really old..." This is the big attraction today for many evangelicals. I…

Dear Christian, We are not called to have faith in our faith, or to hope in the strength our faith; rather we are called to put our faith in Jesus Christ *alone* for both our salvation and present sanctification. He is sufficient. He will hold you fast. He will bring you home.

Timothy George considered leaving the Baptist tradition until he realized every tradition has struggles. Staying let him learn from others without losing the gift of his Baptist identity and heritage.
What makes Reformed Baptists unique is the baptistic congregationalism detailed in the 1689 LBCF. We share other distinctives with other traditions (RPW, soteriology, Covenant theology, etc), but our polity is unique, thoroughly biblical, & is perhaps the best part of being an RB
