I’m truly honoured to receive an OBE in the King’s Birthday Honours List. When I heard the news, I had to sit down. To be recognised not just for my cricketing career, but for contributing to diversity in sport, means more than I can say. Thank you to everyone who’s supported me.

Just our way of saying "Happy Birthday" to the man Nelson Mandela called The Destroyer: the amazing @devon_malcolm. Live long and prosper, sir. You certainly made South Africa 'history' THAT day at The Oval!
THREAD: THE GREATEST SPELL OF PACE BOWLING EVER Cricket is packed with demon fast bowlers, from Spofforth to Tyson to Hall to Thomson... But the greatest spell of REALLY FAST bowling came from someone who is often not given the credit he deserves. August 21, 1994, The Oval.
Happy Birthday @devon_malcolm England won only 5 of their 27 Ashes Tests in the 1990s, and Malcolm was a factor in four of those wins - more than any other bowler. His 9 for 57 described as ‘the most destructive piece of fast bowling ever seen’ by Donald

I am deeply saddened by the news of The Great #QuincyJones passing. It’s the end of an era. My dear Mother introduced me to his music, suggesting his global reach. I was honoured to give a tribute to him on france24.com/en/live. Sincere condolences to his family. 🎺 💐 🙏🏾
It was great to meet you @BBCRajiniV 🏏
Today, at the Oval, just after sharing memories of that first visit, Devon came and sat next to us. I introduced myself. Friendly and polite - he said he’d seen me on the news. My late father would’ve smiled in that moment. And it briefly felt like he was right there with us. 🥰
Met up with Big Syd today! It was great to see him smiling, despite everything he has been going through. Looking forward to catching up with him again on the 28th of November for the David Lawrence Cricket Dinner 🏏 #keepsmiling

It was a great experience talking to you guys, really enjoyed it!
This week’s episode has prompted some wonderfully kind feedback thanks to the brilliant @devon_malcolm being one of the best guests we’ve had so far. Do give it a listen if you haven’t yet. It’s a belter of a pod.
Etched in the Oval's history! 🤩 Earlier this summer, Devon was at the ground for the Test match 📸🤗 🤎 | #KiaOval
Devon Malcolm's record-shattering display in south London ❤️🔥 30 years ago, one of England's fastest-ever bowlers blew away South Africa, taking 9⃣ for 5⃣7⃣ - the best figures to date at the Kia Oval 🤯 🤎 | #BlackHistoryMonth @SpillsSport
