After the Morikawa brouhaha, one wonders how golf media would treat the Georgia Hall/@lpga Caddie/Ryan O’Toole/Gina Marra/Caddie merry-go-round if it were a @PGATOUR (or Allah forbid, @livgolf_league) player.

Nobody should be taking marketing advice from US women’s golf media, which tries to convince us every year or two that a new white or American girl has finally arrived to be the savior of the @LPGA. The fans are tired of the boy who cried wolf.

For those of you surprised @NoLayingUp would pull the plug on @KVanValkenburg over $$$, remember, they hired veteran and father @codymcbridenlu as an “independent contractor” (lol) to evade payroll taxes and benefits, even though he was clearly a fulltime employee.

What I admire about @Skratch is the transparency in existing as a PR wing for the @PGATOUR, which it signals through its consistent use of “PGA TOUR” conventions, unlike official marketing partner @GolfDigest, which doesn’t use the allcaps when pretending to do journalism.

Why is everyone acting so surprised by these @espn layoffs? When they made the April cuts, they announced there would be non-renewals and more cuts in the Summer. Would hate to think @NoLayingUp didn’t understand its negotiating position when hiring.

Hearing @KVanValkenburg may have teamed up with @flushingitgolf and @RiggsBarstool against @TronCarterNLU.

I assume this is the soft launch of telling us that KVV’s time at @NoLayingUp is going the way of @Daniel_Rapaport at Barstool? Seems like the Big-J experiment is over in Golf Pod Land.
