It was great to see someone actually process the difference between “University of Indiana” and “Indiana University” on the Rockies’ call of the Colorado-St. Louis game yesterday:
Just a couple of Hoosiers doing Hoosier stuff.
Take a bow, @kschwarb12. The bat that decided the 2025 #AllStarGame is heading to the Hall of Fame!
With his 28th home run in 92 games, Kyle Schwarber is 1 home run ahead of Ted Kluzewski 1954 pace of 49 home runs, establishing the Hoosier-MLB single season record. Big Klu hit his 28th HR in the Reds’ 93rd game that year.

A little bit of a different form of Pro Ball Hoosiers today at Micah Johnson’s Dreams Store in York, Maine.

Amazing setting for summer collegiate, wood bat baseball. Too bad lightning and rain suspended the game.

With his 24th home run in 78 games, Kyle Schwarber is 2 home runs ahead of Ted Kluzewski 1954 pace of 49 home runs, establishing the Hoosier-MLB single season record. Big Klu did not hit his 24th HR until the Reds’ 87th game that year.

Congratulations @JackPerkins06 on the Major League debut, it couldn’t have been much better!
The Summer Hoosier Roadtrip counties, today in The Bronx, checking in on @pserruto_7 Last year about this time I first met Peter in Richmond, now we’re at Yankee Stadium.

In Reading, PA tonight to catch McCade Brown, even though he’s already tossed a gem this series. There’s a lot of Hoosier personnel recognized around the stadium with Mickey Morandini, Scott Rolen, and Dan Held

The summer of Hoosiers baseball starts today! Over the next month I plan on checking in on Hoosiers in Johnson City, Tennessee, Reading, Pennsylvania, The Bronx, New York, York, Maine, and if I still have the energy, Kalispell, Montana, and back here in Atlanta.
Congratulations @JackPerkins06 on being named PCL Pitcher of the Week❗️ Last week Jack threw 5 innings, striking out 10 while surrendering just 2 hits and 0 runs. Jack is the A’s #10 prospect according to MiLB Pipeline.
#BlueJays slugger Will Robertson opened the week with a three-homer game and finished with eight total hits, including five homers and two doubles, with eight RBIs and eight runs for @BuffaloBisons! 🏆: atmilb.com/3vKTeak
Eastern League Top 10 Phillip Glasser: Batting Average: .315 (4th) Hits: 57 (4th) Fewest Strikeouts: 22 (4th) OBP: .387 (8th) BA BIP: .352 (10th) Strikeout %: .107 (2nd)
🚨Hoosier vs Hoosier Alert🚨 Craig Yoho vs Cade Bunnell In the bottom of the 7th inning, Yoho makes quick work of Bunnell on 3 straight pitches.
Super cool camera angle from Tanner Gordon’s start at Wrigley the other night.
