The official account of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. It's always baseball season here.
We’re days away from celebrating the Class of 2025 as the eyes of the sports world turn to Cooperstown. Here’s everything you need to know ahead of #HOFWKND: ow.ly/2Iuu50WqLlc

Jesse Haines, a Hall of Fame knuckleballer and core member of the @Cardinals Gashouse Gang, was born #OTD in 1893. In his words, “I don’t believe any batter in uniform likes to face a good knuckleballer when it’s sweeping in with a lot of zip and breaking right.”

Cooperstown colors are a fit for every era. For the second straight year, @MLB clubs will celebrate Induction Weekend with caps featuring the Hall of Fame logo. ow.ly/h2JQ50Wu3b4
Three World Series titles, a record-tying five All-Star Game starts, 49 shutouts and a 58.2-inning scoreless streak only scratch the surface of Don Drysdale’s dominance. The @Dodgers legend was born #OTD in 1936.

The Hall of Fame remembers former major league pitcher and longtime Athletics scout Jeff Bittiger, who passed away Saturday at the age of 63.

On this date in 1997, Greg Maddux showed why efficiency was his middle name when the @Braves ace threw a 78-pitch complete game in just two hours and seven minutes. ow.ly/xeel50WtfJj

Billy The Kid is headed to Cooperstown. Tune in this weekend.
Fans outside Cooperstown will have the chance to celebrate the Hall of Fame induction of their heroes as plaques from the Class of 2025 visit ballparks across the country later this summer. ow.ly/ka6750Wtfav

Ted Williams never gave away an at-bat, but he was particularly locked in #OTD in 1946. The Hall of Famer hit for the cycle in the second game of a @RedSox doubleheader sweep to cap off a seven-hit day. ow.ly/2fiY50WsxSL

In addition to honoring Tom Hamilton and Thomas Boswell, the Hall of Fame Awards Presentation will feature a panel with Mike Hargrove, Mark Shapiro and Jim Thome reflecting on Cleveland’s 1995 pennant. We’ve opened additional seats for a limited time: ow.ly/Cgyg50Wsy39

One year ago today, Joe Mauer was inducted into the @baseballhall!
He was known as the middle man of the famous double play combo – Tinker to Evers to Chance – but Johnny Evers was an exceptional player in his own right, leading his teams to five pennants and three World Series titles. The Hall of Famer was born #OTD in 1881.

On this date in 1996, the @Orioles brought a franchise icon back to Baltimore. Eddie Murray’s arrival helped the O’s postseason push while the Hall of Famer chased the 500-home run milestone. ow.ly/84bh50WsxVU

The party’s just getting started for @CC_Sabathia. Join us in wishing the Class of 2025 inductee a happy birthday! 🎉

Mural honoring the late Dick Allen, nearing completion in his hometown of Wampum, Pa. Don Mancini, a friend of Allen’s, shared this photo with the Allen family. One week from today, Allen’s loved ones and the baseball world gather at the @baseballhall. @MLBNetwork
Everything has to go right for a pitcher to complete a no-hitter. For Jim Bunning, that meant setting down none other than Ted Williams for the final out to polish off his gem #OTD in 1958. ow.ly/p2qi50WskPB

When Hank Aaron hit his 755th home run on this date in 1976, it wasn’t simply the final home run of his career. It also solidified an unmatched major league record: 23 seasons with double-digit homers. ow.ly/AQVO50WskP9 (📸 Doug McWilliams)

Spotted a pair of All-Stars in the Museum this morning. Special thanks to @GreekGodOfHops and @Sut_40 for visiting us!

Taking over for fellow @tigers legend Ty Cobb in center field, Heinie Manush consistently ranked among the top batters of his era with four 200-hit seasons, the 1926 AL batting title and a .330 career average. The Hall of Famer was born #OTD in 1901.
