Hey, so, @Coinbase is once again one of the first large operators signaling to increase the gas limit. People used to bully us to go faster, but I guess now it's our turn to bully them? Yallah @LidoFinance, @P2Pvalidator, @FigmentCapital, @Kiln_finance, @ChorusOne!
Following the changes implemented by the Pectra upgrade, we’ve begun gradually increasing gas limits on a subset of Coinbase validators—from 36M to 60M. We’re keeping a close eye on validator performance and stability as we roll out.
Big changes are coming to @EthereumFndn’s ecosystem development cluster to support real-world adoption. Here’s what’s changing and why it matters🧵
Robinhood just announced tokenized private companies !!! @SpaceX and @OpenAI will be tokenized on Robinhood Chain !
Robinhood Chain!
Ethereum 🤝 Arbitrum 🤝 Robinhood
Robinhood is now onchain with Arbitrum! Arbitrum will serve as @RobinhoodApp's rails to merge DeFi and TradFi in what is a 0 -> 1 moment for the entire industry. All while onboarding millions of net-new users into crypto. Arbitrum Everywhere. 🧵
I had signalled 60M a few months ago on my erroneous understanding that it was safe to do so. It is now estimated that at this stage, a 45M limit is safe. A 25% increase of network capacity is already awesome! Planning to adjust validators as soon as I can as a consequence 🫡
Over the last couple of days, all major @ethereum clients signalled that they consider a move to 45M gas per block safe. Please adjust your validators accordingly. Please update to the new releases to get the improvements and fixes that clients need to safely move to 45MGas ⬇️

After huge effort from all EL clients we are now ready for 45 MGas limit on Ethereum Mainnet. @NethermindEth released a 1.32.0 version which sets 45 as a default value + history expiry for pre-merge blocks + huge block production revenue improvement: github.com/NethermindEth/…
ethereum’s network effects are under attack lowering latency (quicker finality and faster slots) are needed fix the problem
Who ever cares about making Ethereum win, and why it is not right now needs to watch this talk by @_JonahB_ I’m such a fan Dial in livestream:
Imo if we can lower slot times, we should. It’s an easy way to internalise the value that preconfirmations seek to provide. There are slot times that the L1 will never touch, preconfs may fill the gap there, but “confirming stuff is the business of the L1” cc @dankrad
Shortening the Ethereum L1 slot time from 12 to 6 seconds has benefits across the stack: * Better UX * More value for users, with lower fees on DEXes * A better confirmation engine for interop protocols * More! We make the case for its headliner consideration in Glamsterdam.
I’m thrilled to introduce Protocol: a new structure for @ethereumfndn’s R&D teams! Our focus: scale L1, scale blobs, and improve UX, without compromising on Ethereum's core values. The world is ready for the world computer. It's on us to deliver it.

With Pectra out the door, is it time for a 60M gas limit on Mainnet? Sepolia & Hoodi are already there.. how are they performing? Read on below:
In the light of Succinct's announcement of real time proving, I think we should think about how we are going to use provers in the next few years. I don't think the time to put limits on provers is now: ethereum-magicians.org/t/relaxing-the…
My goal: 6s for Glamsterdam 4s for (Glamsterdam +1) ... The headline target will be 1s. Beyond 4s we need to do some deeper changes to consensus, which we're still working on.
Where are the shorter slot times @dankrad? 6 seconds to start with and how we plan for 1s?
a more constructive take on REV BS (ithink): vs. solana: solana revenue quality is very poor, while ETH is massively under-monetized.. with minor tweaks and low fees, ETH could likely generate $5–10B in revenue at this stage, potential revenue is a better key metric... ETH…

This is potentially devastating news for ketogenic dieting. A ketogenic diet seems to be shifting people's risk for heart attack and stroke way up.
