Maximum New York—more people, more housing, more greatness than ever // 🇺🇸🗽🫎 // 🏳️🌈 // 🚀
One of my principal goals for 2025 is to meet the man who will become my husband. I am interested in serious introductions from people who know me well, or think they catch my broad vibe. Sometimes people ask "What are you looking for in a husband?" Here are important…
Simply date and marry me, and this could be us.
Giant whiteboard has joined the library cart
Apartment library cart is put together!
Anti-politics meme can go kick rocks
This bill is a miracle In conventional wisdom Congress isn't "supposed" to work this well & in such good bipartisan faith anymore. It all came together more like "Schoolhouse Rock" than like "House of Cards" The Senate's legendary collegiality came back in full bloom here
Lots of people define their work as “dismantle this, dismantle that.” Not me. I’m here to mantle things.
Finally got around to buying relevant materials. It's now only $78!
How to make a lightboard You’ll need $89 and an hour. (Amazon links below.)
Everyone recognizes why physical excellence and a well-defined musculature are good. Apart from all other benefits, one is beautiful and a pleasure to see, even for oneself in the mirror. Hard work manifest. The well-taught liberal arts do the same, but create a beautiful mind.

In my head there is a aural-emotional spectrum. Prokofiev's "Dance of the Knights" from Romeo and Juliet is on one end (1935-40). On the other end is Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1 in B♭ minor (1874-5).
Project idea for music analysis: “cover index” How many artists in a genre cover the same song? How many artists of a generation cover a certain song? Etc. Inspired by listening to “Amazing Grace” renditions, and finding that many of the country greats have covered it.
I’ll be in Cambridge/Boston and available for schemes Sunday afternoon and Monday morning, fyi.
