Ranked Choice Voting is a very good idea. I was skeptical at first, but after some diligence on the mechanics, it would save taxpayer money by avoiding runoffs, force candidates to fight for every citizen’s vote, and let citizens say more with each vote. States should adopt it.

Yesterday the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Creating a Respectful and Open World for Natural Hair (CROWN) Act, taking an important step to help end race-based hair discrimination. We applaud the House for this effort and urge the Senate to quickly pass the bill.
