From an Eastern Catholic perspective - the use of females in the sanctuary is incomprehensible. It is a form of liturgical transgenderism. These women think they are clergy?
This is the key thing to understand. Largely they weren’t doing this in the 1950s. The “traditionalist” movement isn’t about freezing time before the Council, it’s about repristinating the liturgy, using what is outstanding in our tradition.
At a recent Latin Mass wedding, all 4 of the bride's sisters sang in the schola. This is Jesu Rex Admirabilis by Palestrina, one of the greatest hymns of all time. Absolute perfection.
