Instead of waiting until morning, here’s some words on a number of Mariners topics: - A woeful weekend - A weird playoff picture - Naylor trade - What should be next - Raley v. Canzone - What Ichiro’s HOF legacy is missing New post up on The View Level.

"Laser focused" on helping the fourth-most valuable company in the world, sure. The globe avi crew is hysterical.
We do need Amazon jobs, for both the economy and also for tax revenue for priorities progressives like Wilson want to pursue like transit expansion and a greater safety net. A Seattle mayor should be laser focused on keeping and growing Amazon's presence.
This was a 10/10 day for me and I wasn’t involved whatsoever. Absolute scenes.
I guess I can finally add a Hall of Fame wide receiver to my list of targets. #Ichiro
I’m convinced that this Mariners team is going to land directly on its target (WC 2/3) but never build up any sort of momentum to make it comfortable for us.
Losing the Logan Gilbert/Kyle Hendricks start to fall back into a tie with the Rangers is bruuuutal.
The 5th inning probably looks very different if Gilbert's gets this called third strike to the leadoff hitter
That d’Arnaud walk. C’mon blue
that picture does a good job hiding the like 7-9 lane street they replaced the viaduct with while promising parks and walkways.
There are about 30 other U.S. cities that need to do what Seattle did.

Anyone want a pair of tickets to see Chris Fleming on Sunday at 4pm at The Moore? $50 each OBO.
Harrell has conducted an avg of 5* 'sweeps' a day for 3 years, more than a third of those being under severe weather all while the city guts services/housing to pay for cops/jails. dude acting like he's not over the moon about this executive order consistent with his own policies
Homelessness is at a record high locally and nationally. King County recorded 16,868 homeless people in its 2024 Point-in-Time Count. Nationally, 771,480 were homeless. st.news/46uqVgq
Don’t love forcing your notoriously clutch leadoff hitter to sac bunt when he’s already up 2-0 in a count and the pitcher isn’t consistently throwing strikes.
