Two great conversations this week in Peru: @WorldDementia hosted a symposium on public policy approaches to #ENDALZ in LATAM, and @alzassociation convened the region’s dementia research, care and public health communities for #AAICSatellite.

🚨 IWG-2024: Cognitively normal individuals with Alzheimer’s biomarkers should be considered at-risk rather than diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Recommendations include contributions from our PIs, Profs: Paulo Caramelli and Leonardo Cruz, along with a diverse group of investigators.
International Working Group suggests biomarker positive cognitively normal individuals should not be diagnosed as having Alzheimer disease and instead are at-risk. ja.ma/40qWcOg #CTAD24
