I don’t think many of us wanted this — we just wanted quality software — Siri / Apple Intelligence features that were promised and a smooth, polished OS that works reliably. Add in some new features (many that we should’ve had for years) and it would’ve been a great update.
Like WHAT useful information does the blurred content behind the panels communicate? How does it make navigation clearer or simpler? This is a parlor trick that degrades usability for no clear gain.
I can’t believe someone approved this design and all the marketing around it without realizing how big of a usability and accessibility failure it is.
