In lieu of tonight's @AfterShocksTBT game, a throwback to 1/4/2018 when Wichita State hosted Houston for its first AAC game in history. A sell-out crowd of 10,506 striped in black, yellow & white watched the 9th-ranked Shockers hit 10 first-half 3s and run away with an 81-63 W.

Coaches: Tobin is the most efficient scorer on the block I’ve coached in 24 years & can step behind the 3 line at a high percentage as well. I was also very pleased with his growing maturity this summer. Very unique game — you won’t find many skill sets like his. Check the film!

“Pouts when things don’t go their way” is a real thing coaches write in their evaluations. Handling adversity is one of the most important skills an athlete (and just regular human being) can develop & display. Without it, there is a much lower ceiling on one’s potential.
