Really makes you think though, there should be a limit to how many degrees you should be able to get HECS for. Some of these amounts will never be repaid.
There is someone out there with a total HECS debt of over $830k....
How are they ever going to pay that back?

This is interesting because over the last decade the vast majority of that time inflation has been below the target range or well above it.

I have a crazy idea but maybe if we were working less and all a little less stressed out we wouldn’t need to have as much reliance on the care economy as we do. open.substack.com/pub/ozproperty…
A strange (but interesting) graph that shows how the massive increase in labour utilisation (workforce participation) has been offset by falling productivity - and why, for the first time in decades, our gross national income per capita has been falling. Simply, we’re working…

This guy just finds incredible properties for sale in souther Europe and making a great point about fighting for city units when you could have this (bit harder for Australians to have this mind you).
Someone explain to me why we are fighting for tiny city apartments when ALL THIS is available for €265k ($311k): - 263m² Spanish villa (2,832 sq ft) - 800 grapevines + winery - 300 avocado trees - 12,577m² of farmland (3.1 acres)

I feel like I am the only one that thinks SOO should be a genuine selection event for the Kangaroos. If you don’t want to play for Australia don’t play SOO. We should have Pacific Island Tests on at the same time as SOO and no club games.
Tino Fa’asuamaleaui Payne Haas & Spencer Leniu, all considering playing for Samoa. Who will play front row for Australia ? Lindsay Collins and Max King played limited minutes off the bench in Origin. Who's left Lindsay Smith Jake Trbjevic Dave Klemmer? Cupboard is bare
As home prices have surged over recent decades, an increasingly larger share of households with dependents are now dual income households. We're also spending a fortune in childcare costs. Is this actually a good outcome for families? open.substack.com/pub/ozproperty…

I once went to Oktoberfest in Munich, Aussies everywhere. I start speaking to this one bloke and it turns out he lived around the corner, literally 8 houses away from me. Next day, my mate and I find a tent which is very much just a locals tent much better experience.
