You don’t understand what you’re saying or doing. You’ll soon succumb to the worst abrupt mass extinction this planet has ever endured. 🌎🔫🙈
I don’t have any solution but all I know is that the lifestyles we live are going to make things bad. Really bad. Like literally “end of world” abrupt mass extinction bad.
Global warming will now further accelerate (its an thermodynamic imperative with now several studies supporting it) "Quantifying the acceleration of multidecadal global sea surface warming driven by Earth’s energy imbalance"; iopscience.iop.org/article/10.108…
Lesson 142: How climate deniers view data showing that we are f&%ked: "Oh look! Temperatures are decreasing faster than ever!"
With no end in sight, what's next? Water shortages, crop failures, famine? The future's bleak...
EXTRAORDINARY Today is the most record breaking day the world has ever seen: Dozens of thousands of records are falling in over 120 countries from Japan to Iceland allover Eurasia and Africa from Algeria to South Africa, locally broken by 10C+ Wait for the updates next hours
Anything & everything that isn’t absolutely essential needs 2🛑now or be done remotely & everyone needs to immediately stop driving, worldwide, RN if we’re to have any hope, but that’s not what’s happening. Does anyone realistically think that’s going to happen? Deep Emergency.
In my local area I’m seeing exactly what I would expect to see: hotter and hotter summers containing more & more brutal heat waves, getting worse & worse every year. It won’t stop, it’ll speed up! We cannot do what we’re doing. We need to stop most of the pointless BS we do now!
We cannot jolt earths’ natural systems so dramatically & expect to survive. Such a dramatic change in so little time is likely to kill the entire biosphere. You cannot do what we’re doing to such a delicate system.
The Universe has its trade-offs & you can buy all your shiny things & get wherever you need to go acting as if you’re more important than every other species that’s ever existed but the trade-off is the worst abrupt mass extinction we’ve ever endured, good luck surviving it.
Record breaking or close to every year & there is no ceiling folks. Prepare to burn.
There is no hope. There is denial of the abrupt mass extinction we’ve triggered but that won’t last long. Just imagine the frequency, intensity & duration of heat waves after exponential warming a decade or more from now. It’s simply unsurvivable.
We’d have to not burn fossil fuels to ever have any hope of our species surviving the oncoming abrupt mass extinction we’ve triggered. We’re burning more fossil fuels than ever as I write this, w/ no end in sight. Hmm…I wonder what the outcome will be?
& we’re just going to keep going on as if nothing is happening. Imagine, a decade from now, the frequency, intensity & duration of this heat after exponentially accelerated global average temperature warming: You won’t be pretending it’s fine for very much longer folks…
It’s hot af outside & everyone’s just out laughing, having a good time as if it’s fine.
Find A/C, cold water or get underground. Those will be the options for now…
A warmer atmosphere holds more water vapor, causing more extreme precipitation events…
Insane to keep thinking we can continue this giant heat engine of civilization. It would all need to collapse for it to get fixed, there is no way around a whole bunch of suffering in the future.
Hate to say it but to all these idiots that don’t believe in climate change & don’t take extreme weather events seriously: Extreme rainfall events are obviously being exacerbated but they’ll let their precious children be washed away in a flood before they admit it.
There is no such thing as “green,” or “climate/eco friendly,” none of this actually exists. These are noises the creature rapidly causing its own extinction make to confirm they’re in denial about rapidly causing their own extinction.
This is why it’s good to stay in the best shape possible because you’re likely going to have to walk a long ways as roads will be clogged w/ hoards of consumotron doomosaurs bumper to bumper desperately searching for a new fossils fueled paradise since theirs will be in ruin.
On our current path, the best we can hope for is catastrophic.
