That headline about glass bottles having more microplastics than plastic ones? It wasn’t the glass – it was the caps. Plastic-based seals and paints in the caps can shed particles. Glass itself is still safe. Meanwhile, plastic bottles? Up to 240,000 plastic particles per liter.
