Coming back to Spain on vacation always makes me realize the gap between innovation in tech (in the Valley) and the daily needs of people unaware of tech. Oftentimes there is a thin thread connecting both in the distance, sometimes there is no connection at all.

UI design tools historically have mostly offered basic primitives: vectors, images, text.. plus basic styling, building components, etc To me, advanced effects like this represent an early yet exciting step in raising the ceiling of what’s possible
