i've rewatched this so many times now. the art direction. the score. the sound design. top notch.
Introducing Sky for Mac. Here's a 90-second sneak peek:
Tune in this morning at 11am PST! I'll be chatting with @bhavikvnagda from @BessemerVP about how AI tools have changed my design to production workflow and even doing a live demo to dive into the details. bvpaipowereddesign1.splashthat.com
When people ask me how has AI changed my design process I tell them Claude Code has been the most impactful. As a designer, making PRs in a large, complex codebase is usually so intimidating. Claude Code takes so much of that away.
Claude Code is now generally available. We're bringing Claude to more of your development workflow—in the terminal, your favorite IDEs, and running in the background with the Claude Code SDK.
It’s crazy to see how many “2D designers” in my network have taken an interest in AR design bc of the Vision Pro. I think developer adoption is adoption is the greatest benefit of this release. Now more of the best holistic PDE minds are taking on 3D. Exciting times.
I’m realizing one huge advantage of pass through vs a projection onto glasses is FOV becomes as large as the outward facing cameras instead of how close the glass is to your eyes. Given latency and pixel density make seeing the outside world close to 1:1, pass through wins.

‘You don’t have to know everything but you can do anything’ @iamharaldur #Config2023
Not super bullish on EyeSight. I like the concept but i think it immediately fails once you have more than one person looking at you. The cameras can only render the right perspective of your eyes to one perspective at a time. #WWDC23

If I can comfortably wear it for 2 hours, then we're in business #WWDC23
Before you freak out, $3500 was never targeted towards the average consumer. It’s geared towards early adopters. more developers -> more/better apps -> appeals to more of the consumer market -> repeat #WWDC23
From the brief showcase, it's a pretty weak display of apps. All seem to feature the same gimmick: "Look at this thing in 3D!" What I'm waiting for is: Your real world surrounding is still the center of attention but enhanced by spatially aware 3d content
