Fantastic 4 was so good! I absolutely love the retro futuristism look and feel. They did that perfectly
There’s definitely a video games to developer pipeline that exists. My gateway was The Sims 2. What was yours?

Another game console with pure HTML & CSS! This time a Gameboy 🎮
I’ve been working on my CSS art skills! Usually throughly CSS Battle, but yesterday I built a Nintendo Switch as a larger project. The Stardew pic displayed is just for extra flare. It’s not perfect, but I definitely couldn’t do this a few months ago!
Maybe it’s time for a TikTok break because my feed had been taken over by the yearly “community school supplies” discussion
I keep toying with the idea of moving and living in the city for 6 months or a year just to have the experience. I know it wouldn’t be a forever thing, but I feel like it would be fun
What do Git and video games have in common? More than you might think! I’ll be giving a talk about it at Momentum in October. Hope to see you there!
Introducing our first speaker, @bytesofbree! See her at our Momentum Conference on Oct 16th in Cincinnati, Ohio. Get tickets at whova.com/portal/registr…
Elgato just released a set of their products In lavender and I know I don’t need it, but god do I want it 💜

I’ve been wanting to do a cookbook club where the group selects one cookbook and each person makes a dish or two. This way you get a full taste of the book. Anyone in ATL interested? 👀👀
Finally being able to edit videos by transcript in CapCut >>>>>> Saves me so much time!
You know when you go out to eat and the food is so bad you realize you should have eaten at home? Me right now
I try really hard not to pay attention to numbers, but I'm about to cross a big milestone: today *might* be the day CodeTV hits 100K subscribers on YouTube 🥹 if you're not a subscriber yet, maybe today's the day? 👀
What’s one of your wins of week? Share something you’re proud of. I filmed the last video in a series on building apps on HubSpot. Between the research, code samples, and video production it was a lot of work. And I’m really proud of it!
This is also a reason I don’t love hearing people say “just read the code” tho. It takes me a little longer which is why o rely on code comments. The “clean code speaks for itself” crowd forgets that everyone doesn’t process info the same way.
I’m dyslexic and I used to be really embarrassed about it. Now it’s just a funny quirk that leads to funny moments. Like purchasing and hanging up this RDR2 poster before my husband told me it was spelled wrong.
