Almost fell off the Gator yesterday feeding the horses when a Red-Headed Woodpecker flew by us. First time ever seeing them and they were really cool. Unfortunately did not have the good camera but they cooperated enough for some documentation.

Just your annual reminder how much it would help handicappers and everyone involved if horses had to declare Turf Only just like you declare Main Track Only. It would also allow Racing offices to take precautions to help races from falling apart.
I have a feeling there's a bazillion scratches at #Saratoga today. Maybe that's why we don't have them yet.
