I want America to be the best at everything and it’s concerning how many of my countrymen do not agree with me (they might say they do but their actions betray them)
In English and history courses they teach you to consider the perspective of the author and how their biases affect what they wrote. Today we assume tweets are written by the hand of god and accusations of bad behavior are gospel (if the accuser/accused fit certain demos)

the key to good storytelling is to tell the entire story at all times - every scene tells the whole story at once, we just get to see it at different locations and times. this is where technique comes in to do that with their mediums' devices, from romantic prose to camera zooms

an explanation for today's lack of media literacy is that experts demand more from their devices now, especially nuance due to its difficulty, but forgot their audience isn't as well-read as them - kpop is a return to storytellers beating audiences with lots of strings to tug on
