Blue Jays Will Wagner is taking leave to head to Cooperstown to be with his family for his father's Baseball Hall of Fame induction this weekend.
The Jays expedited the process yesterday by taking S.Dominguez out of the negotiations and focusing solely on Soto, this is considered their “minor” trade, which is awesome considering Soto is a quality arm. If they were to acquire a big time reliever it would be another team.
UPDATE: the Jays want to get this done today. They aren't going to be dragged around and wait around on this. If they find Baltimore holding things up or feel it won't get done very soon they will move on to business elsewhere The small time RP trade should be done this week.
