It *has* taken CAHSR too long. Dems should be moving to fix it. In the same sense that getting gun control right requires Republicans to admit reforms are needed and come to the table in good faith, getting public procedural reform right requires Democrats to do same.
AGAIN: CA HSR was mismanaged but that doesn’t mean its merits and utility aren’t great. Both of these things can be true. How about US DOT help CA build it instead of stopping HSR from happening in this country?
