In the wider conversation around the streetcar and Beltline rail, I want to remind folks that this is what we are talking about: A corridor explicitly planned, designed, built, and developed for light rail, now left waiting for service despite being immediately ready for it.

The streetcar also has twice the per-mile rider-productivity of heavy rail... because of its short length. It's also the only service that has exceeded pre-COVID ridership... because of its core focus. Like, the way to improve things is... to improve them. Not abandon.
