You can’t shortcut deep learning. No amount of Wikipedia summaries, TikToks, or AI search results can replace getting enmeshed in a topic, reading books about it, and contemplating what you’ve read. Folks thinking it’s pretentious to say, “Read a book,” is part of how we got here
