On the off chance Twitter no longer becomes available in Canada, I managed to get a Bluesky account so to anyone who still wants to follow me I'm also there. Also the perfect oppertunity to remind people that I have a letterboxd account aswell.
Wait but.... I'm Canadian 😬. It's over for me.
This is so easily Nolan's best
Two years ago OPPENHEIMER was released in theaters. This moment in IMAX 70mm was life changing. I’ll never forget the chills that went down my spine. Happy anniversary to one of my favorite films of all time.
I'm so glad we're moving on from this
Killing off a woman for the sake of a man's development is the lamest fucking shit ever
THIS IS HOW I WIN
hot take: superman should use his legs in combat a lot more often, and not just in comics, in everything imo
Noticed I'm very close to 200 followers on my Letterboxd, follow me for some movie reviews and perhaps for some neat takes: letterboxd.com/md437/
Now I’m kinda excited for Doomsday because it’s gonna be one of the worst superhero movies of all time
My favourite scene from Oppenheimer, while we don't see the bomb go off in Japan we do feel the impact through Robert's eyes as we feel the horror of what has happened. From the sound effects, to the people's cries to how shacky the background feels, it's just perfect
Two years ago, Cillian Murphy delivered one of the most sensational performances in cinema history.
"You're much stronger than you think you are" NEW SUPERMAN ANIMATION OUT NOW ⬇️ youtu.be/vsVC-Gt_gas
diane i seem to be trapped in a two dimensional cartoon house with a purple talking dog
Would it be a hot take if I said this is my top 3 favorite version of Clois
CAN THEY KISS ALREADY
"It's dad" "It's Clark" "It's Superman" With all due respect to all the other versions past & present, I still believe #SupermanAndLois just hits different. Superman & Lois is genuinely one of the greatest interpretations of Superman ever put to screen.
With all the hype around James Gunn's Superman movie I just want to take a moment to celebrate Tyler Hoechlin and Bitsie Tullock's #SupermanAndLois - a truly nuanced, modern take which deserved more seasons!
I've been thinking about the addition of hypno-glasses and why the inclusion in Superman as David's already able to act differently between Clark & Superman. Then I remember the twist with Ultraman, and I'm now thinking if Gunn only added it so Lex doesn't know Clark is Superman
