Over the weekend, AIM Executive Director @ashleybearden attended the annual @BaptistHealthAR NICU Reunion, where she and her daughter were able to reconnect with some of the nurses and staff whose care inspired her to begin the journey that led her to AIM!
I had the honor of speaking at the 2025 Health Summit in NWA discussing all the good work we have done this legislative session to improve maternal and pediatric health in Arkansas. Lots more to do but a lot to be proud of.
I got several letters about my bill to ensure 12 weeks paid maternity leave for every public school educator. This bill mattered a lot to me, because people told me from first-hand experience how it mattered to them. On the last day of session, it passed. arkansasonline.com/news/2025/apr/…
