Extra-long tandem repeats (ETRs) such as centromeres and immunoglobulin loci are difficult to align. UniAligner is a computational method for efficiently and accurately aligning ETRs, facilitating analysis of their variation and evolution. @AndreyBzikadze nature.com/articles/s4159…
