hyper-inclusive catholic (WO, SSM, and more), anglican for now. liturgical snob. universalist
i try to be very respectful to clergy (who aren’t obviously evil) regardless of differences of opinion. i don’t want to become a total sectarian

Why do you believe there is a growing interest in Anglicanism, Eastern Orthodoxy, and Roman Catholicism among evangelicals?
actually keep this going & make legal marriage into a formality instead of a ritual
Can we ban this please
regulative principle is so deeply silly i don’t understand how anyone could believe it
Five of the reasons I’m not an Anglican in no particular order: 1. Regulative principle of worship (whatever Christ does not institute in NC worship is prohibited) 2. Baptism of credibly professing disciples alone 3. Ecclesiastical fellowship should be separate from unbelief…
there’s no way this happens at any scale lol
Ending your marriage simply because you are “bored” is truly one of the most wicked things society is now facing.
the ‘basic flow’ lol
I am blessed to attend an SBC church that follows the basic flow of the historic Christian liturgy, uses a lectionary, celebrates the whole church year, and has weekly communion. But even without these things, I would remain a Baptist. Here's why:
this guy goes to my parish
First, we need mass deportation of every illegal immigrant out of America and then we need mass deportation of every pro-amnesty RINO out of Congress.
this thread makes this new prof sound really good
For several years, I’ve grown concerned that the “retrieval movement” may be a theological Trojan horse—one that begins by claiming to retrieve orthodoxy but ends by undermining the doctrinal clarity of the Reformation. A thread🧵
I am VERY PLEASED to announce that The Anglican Office Book now has an online edition. The complete Office is available, in both English and Latin, as well as with some musical notation. Many thanks to @shevans02 for his work on this project. anglicanoffice.com
Francis also gave his preferred candidates for the next five Popes, as well as the exact dates of death for all of them
“Prevost was Bergoglio's candidate…shortly before he died, Francis called all the cardinals he could trust and told them: 'Please remember: after me, it's the American's turn. A missionary, an Augustinian, he will be the best for the Universal Church.'" romatoday.it/attualita/intr…

people’s strong reactions to women priests is so ridiculous. why would this bother you lol
I went to visit an Episcopal church - there was liturgics alright, down to a t. Except, a couple of women priests were presiding in the service. I did not know what to think of that😂😅
the Roman Catholic Church has a bunch of theological limits to what a Pope can do & declare, but absolutely zero practical systems put in place to prevent a particularly power-hungry Pope from ignoring those limits
