We see this happen all the time. Both through MM agreements and through CEX listing agreements. Massive problem in the space. Wipes out a ton of invested capital which reduces the rate of innovation/adoption of crypto.

Treasury companies will start as bag holders. Phase two will evolve into eth/BTC financial companies that engage in borrowing/lending, trading strategies, etc. You can bet on long term value appreciation + income generated with the balance sheet.

There is nothing more frustrating than working with and advising a company for 12+ months, you get them to market reasonably, they hire sketchy MMs, pay sketchy exchanges and tank all that work within 30 days of launching the token.
