I asked four questions at the @Royal_Greenwich Council meeting tonight. I asked whether we would be seeking an MOU with @forestbike_uk following the success of my motion to request one with @limebike, which will soon be passed. The MOU should improve dockless hire in #Greenwich

Our town centres struggle with delivery drivers stopping wherever the can. It doesn't work for local businesses, residents, visitors or delivery riders. We need dedicated parking bays to avoid any kinds of conflict - working with @aidanmasmith to see dedicated bays in Greenwich
I asked about the provision of motorcycle parking in #Greenwich town centre to support delivery riders, who play a vital part in the viability of the restaurants and nighttime economy. @Calum_OBM and I have worked with riders to suggest sites and will continue tonpress the issue.

What a fantastic day at Woolwich Dockyard Festival! So inspired by the energy and community spirit here. Huge thanks to everyone who made it special — RBG Mayor, staff of Clockhouse and New Charlton Community Centre, volunteers, and most of all, our amazing community. Cheers to…
Great morning at my weekly street surgery on Eglinton Road—listening to residents and noting down casework with the Shooters Hill Street Task Force. Want to help? Become a SH Street Coordinator and join our WhatsApp group: whatsapp.com/dl/ (Shooters Hill residents only).
At Full Council, I asked the Deputy Leader how the Sustainable Streets consultation will ensure that residents without digital access are included. Here to help and support the Shooters Hill community-always here to serve. Watch my question below.👇 #ShootersHill #CommunityFirst
I spoke in support of the motion for a banking hub on Eltham High Street—access to cash is vital for everyone. I also back similar initiatives in Shooters Hill in the future to ensure our residents stay included. Watch my remarks below. 👇 #CommunityMatters #BankingForAll
In the midst of a housing crisis, following 14 years of Tory austerity measures, this Labour Government will build, and this Labour Council continues to build. We believe in providing quality homes for our residents, thus we are building 1750 new council homes across the borough.
🏘️ Social housing is the most effective way to tackle London's accommodation crisis, and that's why we're building 1,750 new council homes for people on our housing register. 🏗️ Below are just some of the sites currently under construction.
🚨 Big praise from the Minister for Housing and Planning. Greenwich is delivering the most affordable homes. There is still a long way to go to solve the housing crisis, we’ll keep working towards this ambition.
Credit to @Royal_Greenwich who had the highest number of new affordable homes started of any London borough last year. Huge progress being made by @MrOkereke and his administration in delivering the 1,750 home Greenwich Builds programme.
🏠 684 homes were delivered in phases one to three, with a further 766 coming in the fourth and fifth phase. The final phase of the overall programme will deliver 165 homes – 80 per cent will be for social rent. You can read the full story here: royalgreenwich.gov.uk/WoolwichEstate…
Cabinet Member for Planning, Estate Renewal and Development, @MajidurR welcomed @mtpennycook to Woolwich Estates yesterday. 🏗️The development is paving the way for 1,615 new homes - over half of which are affordable and 700 are for social rent, including 241 council homes.
An investment made with the benefit of increased funding from a Labour Government & Labour Council. We’ve also match funded this investment, significantly increasing investment into repairing our roads and fixing potholes. 🚶♂️🚴♀️🚗 A good result all round.
I believe I've found it. We’ve also match funded this investment, significantly increasing investment into repairing our roads and fixing potholes. 🚶♂️🚴♀️🚗 committees.royalgreenwich.gov.uk/documents/s116…

Strangely, the fact that traffic has INCREASED at the weekend in the vicinity of the Blackwall and Silvertown tunnels didn't get mentioned in the press release... 🤔
