109 mentions of “genomics” in the 10 Year plan…. Sounds like I picked the right research area Like the sound of these @DHSCgovuk Global Institutes as well… meant to bring together innovation in areas that need employment rather than just investing in the golden triangle……
Hopeful that because the front cover has a DNA strand we’ll see more on genomic medicine As someone who is involved in sorting this out in our region, I’m hopeful that we’ll be able to deliver tangible benefits for patients (with the right funding!! 😂)

Interesting article from @iancowie about @IntuitiveSurg I know that they and others are collecting loads of surgical videos. My prediction with the rise of AI, we’ll be seeing autonomous surgical robots within the next decade thetimes.com/business-money…

👉 I literally bang my head against a wall arguing for this in the NHS all the time It is in NICE guidance but this is always interpreted to mean anywhere in the pathway rather than on the biopsy
🔑 Cannot over-emphasize that mismatch repair ✅MMR 🔬 testing should be done in 💯% of patients with colorectal cancers BEFORE any treatment decisions are made. There’s a reason why this was the 1st agnostic approval. @OncoAlert #ASCO25
