He can yell about the "woke left" all he wants, but no college radical in a Che Guevara t-shirt ever shipped people out of the US and into the clutches of Venezuela's feared colectivos. Only @marcorubio did that. motherjones.com/politics/2025/…

Over the next day or two, some of the 252 Venezuelan men will learn that their names and stories are now known to millions. All of them should know that they were never forgotten, and that the fight to get them due process continues.
Reminder: many of the disappeared were in the middle of asylum proceedings and it appears they are being sent back to place they fled in violation of US & intl protection laws. Because they were denied due process, we have no idea just how dangerous these returns may be for them.
We are closely following media reports about a prisoner swap, but have no confirmation yet. If reports are true, this is proof the Trump admin was lying in court and publicly about the custody of these men and who was in charge of their fates since the day they disappeared them,
We were able to identify Andry exiting the plane in Venezuela. After 125 days in a torture prison in El Salvador, he has been released & sent back to the country he initially fled. We will keep fighting for justice for Andry. @ImmDef statement: immdef.org/blog/andryrele…
The United States hasn’t supported a coup in Brazil this brazenly since… 1964.
.@POTUS made clear that his administration will hold accountable foreign nationals who are responsible for censorship of protected expression in the United States. Brazilian Supreme Federal Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes's political witch hunt against Jair Bolsonaro created a…
We are working to confirm Andry's status. He deserves due process here in the United States.
If he was truly on that plane, Andry Jose Hernandez Romero—like many others aboard who had fled Venezuela to seek asylum in the United States—is still not safe. freeandry.org

Far better than the CECOT, but many of these men had asylum cases. They fled Venezuela claiming fear for their lives or freedom there. They never got a hearing in the US. Sending those with asylum cases back to Venezuela is "refoulement," a human rights violation. It's illegal.
US officials have been telling courts that the Venezuelan captives were entirely under the Salvadoran government's control, so we have to assume that they, too, are just finding out about this now 🙄
Today, we have handed over all the Venezuelan nationals detained in our country, accused of being part of the criminal organization Tren de Aragua (TDA). Many of them face multiple charges of murder, robbery, rape, and other serious crimes. As was offered to the Venezuelan…

Don't you hate it when your phone rings and you accidentally answer one of the tear gas canisters hanging off of your body? I hate when that happens
No such thing as a sanctuary city, no such thing as a sanctuary state. Operations are underway in the #Sacramento area to interdict illegal activity and safeguard our nation through this Title 8 mission. We appreciate your continued support as we work to secure the homeland at…
That's $312.06 from every one of the 340 million people living in the United States.
Put another way, we've raised taxes on Americans by $106.1 billion dollars.
Amazing. New CNN poll has Trump's approval on immigration absolutely tanking. It's down to 42-58. A 19-point net swing against him on this issue in just the last few months. Curious what those who say we're in midst of societal backlash to 1965 immigration law think of this
