Hiding behind a mask to menace the public isn’t protest. It’s coercion. Americans have every right to protest their government, but not to do so anonymously while terrorizing others and flouting the law, write @ishapiro and @Jesse_Leg on.wsj.com/4eVs0A3
I've been a professor for four decades. Roughly half of the 8 to 10 thousand students I've taught have been young men. I can tell you with certainty that the push from the left has been stronger than the pull from the right. Much stronger.

It is not a virtue to exaggerate an infectious disease threat at the start of a pandemic to panic the population into compliance. It's not a vice to ask for data to understand the true risk. A noble lie is a lie.
Don't do this. No matter how much you dislike Trump, don't do this. Half the people in America voted for Trump. If you think voting for Trump makes people evil, then you have to believe half the people in America are evil, and that's just deluded.

It interesting that nowadays the more secular people become, the more they make super-moralistic political claims. Irreligiosity seems to go hand in hand with confidence in one's ability to establish justice upon the earth.
It's natural for a society's elites to come to believe that the ostensibly nonpartisan institutions of its culture--be they schools and universities, newspapers and magazines, museums and libraries, or professional sports teams--are *theirs*, and must therefore serve *their*…

I just learned that for a bartender to serve me a shot of rum in California, neat, he needs a special license. He was legally required to serve the rum with a piece of ice. Not April’s fools!
Color me impressed by @peacock's new series, Reggaeton: The Sound that Conquered the World. As a non-reggaeton fan (though I confess that I sort of liked it 20 years ago), I nonetheless admire and respect how it revolutionized music. Apart from @daddy_yankee being a class act…
