we recently invested a week on improving the performance of Granola, speeding up app start up times for power users by a significant amount. this user has more than 3000 meetings, and app startup time was reduced from ~5.6s → 0.71ms for them still have a long way to go 🫡

Many of you asked what software I used for that metaballs GIF. It's a custom UI made with @py5coding, a version of Processing for Python 3.9+. It’s incredibly handy for building visual experiments while taking full advantage of the Python ecosystem.
