My tweet about how working @Friendlys as a teen waitress was more respectful than working for the governor of New York started a series of events that would ultimately lead to the resignation of said governor.

So my friend and rugby teammate just died. It was a hit and run from a Grand Theft Auto suspect pursued by NYPD while he was jogging Friday night. This is appears to be in violation of NYPD's vehicle pursuit policy which limits chases to only the most serious & violent crimes
Famously, when Josh Shapiro removed all obstacles to repairing I-95 the one thing he kept was union labor. It wasn't an obstacle to getting the job done in 12 days.
Josh Barro: "When I look at policies in New York that stand in the way of Abundance, very often if you look under the hood, you eventually find a labor union at the end that's the driver"
The Observer reports "members of [Columbia's] board of trustees were in direct communication with Republicans in Congress and… the Trump administration, offering information and advice on what demands to make and how to present them." Is CU negotiating with Trump or itself? 🔗⬇️
